Due to the rapid increase number of COVID-19 cases in Portage County and throughout the state, the 83rd Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin (PFFW) State Convention has been canceled at the Stevens Point Holiday Inn and Convention Center this year. With the health and safety of our community, the employees at the Holiday Inn and Convention Center, and the entire PFFW membership is our utmost concern. We would hate for a major outbreak of COVID during our event.

We are pleased to have another opportunity to host the 84th PFFW Convention, which will be held at the Stevens Point Holiday Inn and Convention Center in June 2022.

With the convention being canceled, we will be raffling a 2020 CanAm UTV. The original raffle drawing date & time had been postponed due to the COVID pandemic. The raffle drawing will now take place on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 4:30 pm. We are still confirming the location of the drawing.

Operation Warm Update:
We've already exceeded our estimation of needing 250 coats this year, and requests are still coming in. To date we have raised approximately $1500, leaving us far short of our goal.

Remember, every donation up to $5,000 is being matched by a generous family in the community. That means every $12.50 donated buys a new winter coat for a local student. Please consider donating and helping our area kids stay warm this winter. Thank you!
